Please note that lunch is not provided, so bring your packed lunch or money to buy food on the city campus. The city centre, with plenty of cafés and grocery shops, is just a 5-minute walk away. You can also check which campus buildings have café outlets using MazeMap. For the field trip to Gardom’s Edge (Peak District) on Thursday, please bring with you:
Optional evening trip to the NTU Observatory (Clifton Campus) On Tuesday 29 July you are invited to join an optional trip to the NTU observatory for night-time stargazing and observations. You must let us know in advance if you are attending the trip. 8.30 pm: The coach will collect students from NTU City Campus, Hampden Street (outside the accommodation). 9 – 11 pm: Activities in the observatory. Depending on weather this might be extended to midnight to allow for observations. 11.30 pm – Midnight: Return to NTU City Campus. Students will be dropped off at the accommodation on Hampden Street. You must let us know in advance if you are collecting your child or if they are staying in the onsite accommodation. The exact details of the return time will be communicated when weather conditions become clearer on the Monday. |
