Field TripsCCMT20523 Wildlife Field Techniques 2027 Somiedo Field Trip, SpainDescriptionThis payment is the student contribution towards the CCMT20523 Wildlife Field Techniques residential field trip to Somiedo, Asturias, Spain, expected to take place from Thursday 22 April to Thursday 29 April 2027. The field trip forms part of the Wildlife Field Techniques module and provides students with the opportunity to apply wildlife survey and fieldwork techniques in a practical setting. Previous field courses have included activities such as bird, freshwater invertebrate, terrestrial invertebrate and plant surveys, alongside other ecological observations and field-based learning. Fieldtrip to Southern Spain - 15th-21st February 2027DescriptionResidential fieldtrip to Southern Spain delivered as part of the Technical Skills module CCMT20291. The trip will provide an opportunity for you to explore the biotic and abiotic variables of the area through the undertaking of a series of field surveys. The trip will also encompass visits to industry, investigating how the area has become one of the leading producers in tomatoes, despite being one of the driest regions in Europe.
