The Project Management short course is designed to meet the expectations of a Level 5, 20-credit academic module in addition to the Project Management knowledge, skills, and behaviours that are required in everyday working life.

The course will be delivered over 3 full days of learning, in addition to the student’s own time in researching project management and undertaking a small project of their own; there is one assessment expectation related to this course which is a written assignment. There will also be 3 online tutorials/ workshops which will be arranged with tutors and students during sessions.

Day 1 – Thursday 14th November 2024, 9.00am-5.00pm (in-person-session @ NTU City Campus)

Day 2 – Friday 15th November 2024, 9.00am-5.00pm (in-person-session@ NTU City Campus) 

Day 3- Thursday 5th December 2024, 9.00am-5.00pm (in-person-session@ NTU City Campus) 

Online Tutorials/ Workshops: arranged with tutors and students during sessions.

The overall aims of the course

This module aims to introduce the student to the skills, techniques, and methodologies of project management that support effective project management delivery.

 

Accreditation

The course is accredited, and students will gain 20 credits at Level 5 if the assignment is completed and passed. Please note, this course is working towards APM Accreditation (Level 5, 20 credits) (awaiting accreditation confirmation).
