Detailed Description

The module CCMT30422: UK Field Course (aka Marine and Coastal Ecology Field Course) is an intensive field-based course which puts into practice, and builds on, knowledge and learning from levels 4 and 5 and applies these to marine and coastal ecosystems. The aim of this module is to familiarise you with the floral and faunal biodiversity, function and conservation of these ecosystems through critical application of a range of sampling and experimental techniques used in field ecology.

We will be based at FSC Dale Fort, which is an incredible venue for marine and coastal ecology as it is situated right on the edge of Milford Haven (https://www.field-studies-council.org/centres/dale-fort.aspx).

The university covers 80% of the cost of your attendance on the trip. You will need to contribute 20% of the cost, which is £135. The deadline for payment is the 1st September.

In addition to paying for the field trip, please make sure you also separately fill in the PIF form (which has been emailed to you) and return to sally.little@ntu.ac.uk.
