York was a Roman stronghold, a Viking capital, and the home of 19th Century chocolate-making.
There are so many interesting things to see here, including the stunning Gothic York Minster, Jorvik Viking experience, the Roman city walls, the Chocolate Experience and the spectacular National Railway Museum.
Or take a walk around the medieval Shambles or enjoy the city from the peace a cruiser on the River Ouse. For info on just what https://visityork.org 

A £10 ticket payment will secure your place and contribute to the cost of this entirely optional and fun day out. Booking is open to NBS postgraduate students only. 

Once in York you are free to explore the city as you choose. NTU is not responsible for your personal safety. Please take care on roads and ensure you keep your belongings safe.
