Help to Grow: Management Programme![]() DescriptionFor senior managers of small and medium sized businesses looking to boost their business’s performance, resilience, and long-term growth. Announced at Budget 2021, ‘Help to Grow’ is an executive development programme to support SMEs to boost their business performance and growth potential. Led by the Chartered Association of Business Schools and delivered by a number of leading Busines Schools who hold the Small Business Charter accreditation. Small business leaders will develop their strategic skills to increase their business’s long-term productivity, resilience and capacity to innovate. Help to Grow is a hybrid, virtual/in person programme, providing 50 hours of support over 12 weeks (plus two week break). Designed to be manageable alongside full time work. Support will be delivered via the following formats:
Eligibility
Modules The in-depth, high quality curriculum will support you to build your capabilities in leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing, responsible business, and financial management. By the end of the programme you will develop a business growth plan to help you lead your business to release its potential.
Mentoring All participants will also be eligible for up to 10 hours of one to one mentoring support. Your mentor will support you with the development of realistic and valuable Growth Action Plans and provide advice on implementation. Nottingham Business School will work closely with each participant to match you with a mentor from our wide pool of professionals with sector-specific industry experience or expertise in areas of your business you identify for priority support.

Fees Help to Grow Management is part funded by UK Government. The total value of the programme is £7500, participants must make a 10% contribution towards the cost of the support. Fee payable: £750 (VAT not applicable).
