Kit In A Kase is a innovative electronic teaching tool suitable for use in KS1 through to KS3.
This product is accessible and easy to adapt while being user friendly.
Nappy Power – KS2
Target age range: Years 3 – 6.
Length of activity: Approximately 1 hour.
Learning outcomes: Pupils will investigate absorbency in three brands of nappy. They will develop an understanding factors directly related to absorbency, make observations and accurately record results.
They will interpret these results and relate them to observations of brand and price.
Talk with slideshow: The interactive presentation will introduce the investigation. It will also introduce each technique as we progress through.
Hands-on experiments: Students will investigate through blind testing the absorbency of three brands of nappy and compare their individual and class results. They will carry out the same procedure with all three brands. Access to a sink is advisable.
