Kit In A Kase is a innovative electronic teaching tool suitable for use in KS1 through to KS3.
This product is accessible and easy to adapt while being user friendly.
CSI Investigation- KS3
Target age range: Years 7 – 9.
Length of activity: From 1 1/2 hours.
Learning outcomes: Pupils will be taken through a series of investigations and experiments to enable them to solve a ‘murder’. They will be provided with information to allow them to devise their own motives and theories.
Talk with slideshow: Students will explore a crime investigation. They will be presented with evidence and background to suspects that will allow them to eliminate suspects one by one.
Hands-on experiments: Students will test samples to determine their origin, they will determine blood groups and carry out two different techniques to lift fingerprints; dusting and superglue fumigation. They will apply their results to a crime to determine suspects.
