Student Disability Parking Permits for City site 2026/2027 academic year. Release date 18 August 2026 at 9am.

Detailed Description

A limited number of parking permits are available for students with disabilities or medical conditions that are expected to last longer than 12 months.

Students must first contact the Student Disability Support team for assessment before purchasing: disability.support@ntu.ac.uk
•    Blue Badge holders do not need to pay for parking.
•    Blue Badge holders should provide their details to the Disability Support team.
•    An access code will be required to purchase a permit following approval.

City Residences Parking Permit
Parking is available at the following residences:
•    Blenheim
•    Maltings
•    Meridian
•    Norton
•    Peverell
•    Simpsons
Parking is only available to residents who have purchased a valid parking permit. For the 2026/27 academic year.

Permit applications are managed by the Residence Team and can be purchased mid to late August as part of the accommodation induction process.

Please note:
•    All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
•    For further information regarding parking permits, residents should contact their Residence Team directly (contact details are provided at the start of the accommodation handbook).

Important Restrictions:
By accepting accommodation at Byron, Gill Street, City of Nottingham residents agree to comply with the University’s agreement with the local authority, which states:
Residents must not bring or keep any motor vehicle in the City of Nottingham, except for a single trip at the beginning and end of term to transport belongings to and from the residence.
