Field trip to Southern Spain to explore the ecology, physical environemnt and water management techniques of a water scarce area.

This module is an intensive field-based course which puts into practice, and builds on, knowledge and learning from year 1 and the first half of year 2 and applies these to unfamiliar ecosystems.

The aim of this module is to familiarise students with the floral and faunal biodiversity, function and conservation of these ecosystems through critical application of a range of sampling and experimental techniques used in field ecology and the environmental sciences.
