Frequently asked questions
The room is available Saturday to Saturday. Do I have to arrive on the Saturday?
No, the room will be waiting for you, so if you prefer to arrive on Sunday then that is fine. The cost is the same regardless of how many nights you stay.
Will there be someone on reception when I arrive?
The halls are managed 24 hours so there will be someone to welcome you when you arrive.
What do I need to bring?
Your bedroom will include a bed pack when you arrive. You should bring your own towel, phone chargers (and adaptor plugs if you are coming from overseas) and anything else you would normally take on a trip.
Can two people share a room?
No, our rooms are for single occupancy only. If a friend or relative is joining you then they should also book a single room. If this is the case let us know so that our managers can accommodate you near one another.
What do I do for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Catering is not included in the accommodation fee. However, being in centre of Nottingham some people like to eat out, and there are cafés on campus for breakfast and lunch.
The Kitchens offer standard white goods plus basic crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, should you wish to eat in or prepare a packed lunch.
I’m under 18. Will I meet others my age?
Yes. Our hall managers will take extra care to ensure guests aged 16 and 17 are accommodated close to one another.
