Course Description

Industry demands that companies must be able to respond to trends in a timely way. Margins have become tighter, and inefficient development processes inevitably eat in to this vital margin.

This one-day course will help you to identify continuous improvements to your product development, led by an industry expert who has managed this in large, successful brands.

To get the most from the course you should already be managing (or about to take on) the product development process and have an idea of what you’d like to improve.

On this course you will:

  • learn techniques and methods to deliver products on time
  • consider ways to work closer to your market
  • critically analyse your processes
  • learn how to manage the process in line with company objectives
  • minimise risk by operating the shortest lead time
  • utilise resources, reduce costs and improve ‘right first time’ prototypes
  • identify logical points of waste and inefficiency
  • consider process steps and brainstorming
  • commence an improvement plan for your business.

What will I gain?

By the end of the day you’ll be able to examine your own development process, and have practical, pragmatic solutions that you can deliver without risk to your organisation.
