Course Description

Through lectures, brainstorming and practical exercises you’ll examine the brand values of your business and those of your fellow delegates. The course aims to help you prepare your business for more focused communications, identifying the areas that need more work.

On this course you will:

  • interrogate the strategy of your brand
  • create a brand image and decide the values that your brand represents
  • check your brand representation and stretch
  • critically analyse if you’re ready for domestic or international expansion
  • review other famous brands and learn what makes them strong.

What will I gain?

At the end of this day you’ll be able to assess your brands readiness for communication and expansion. You’ll have a basic understanding of branding, and have the tools to determine your next steps.

Tutor biography: Eve Davies works across all areas of the fashion industry, from manufacturing to design, and has experience in product development and innovation, merchandising, marketing and logistics.

She has experienced over 25 years at Director-level for successful global brands including Speedo and New Balance.

Eve has also spent five years with Joules, a Fast Track Top 100 company, as Commercial Director working across range management, marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, sourcing and logistics, sales and multi-channel international expansion. She then spent five years at Start-rite shoes, working on a brand turnaround.

Eve is currently an independent consultant and a Non-Executive Director of two businesses.
