Strasbourg Summer School - 2017
8th - 15th July 2017
A one week Summer School with visits to the European Parliament, European Court of Human Rights and Council of Europe together with lectures and workshops on the history and role of these institutions and aspects of their activities.
This is one of a number of one week Summer Schools offered by Nottingham Law School. they are principally intended for students of the Law School, but are available to all NTU Students and alumni. The Strasbourg Summer School is likely to be of particular interest to students of Politics and International Relations. Students of other universities may be accepted, but must request authorisation to enrol from the academic co-ordinator, John Hodgson (email@example.com).
The course fee includes tuition and accommodation in a shared twin-bedded room in the Appart'City aparthotel. (Single rooms are available at a supplementary cost.) The programme includes guided half day visits to the European Parliament, European Court of Human Rights and Council of Europe with presentations from relevant officials and two and a half days of lecture and workshop tuition by lecturers from Nottingham Law School designed to complement and build on the visits.
Payment, Cancellation and Refund
Deposit of £200 to be paid by 31 January 2017, balance to be paid by 31 March 2017.
The deposit is non-returnable (unless the Summer School is cancelled by Nottingham Trent University due to insufficient numbers).
Please note if you cancel within four weeks of departure all monies paid will NOT be recoverable.
